Buried deep in rich soil, a seed sprouts and its roots grow far and wide. The Oaktree flourishes, standing tall and strong with long branches and leaves for shelter, sustenance and shade. It becomes a home to many, a place of healing, a place of hope. The Oaktree Foundation provides tangible resources to Bahamian communities and supports charitable organizations in need. In its initial phase, the Foundation will provide secondary educational scholarships, launch the Purpose Project - a youth literacy campaign and provide homeless shelter support. With a central belief that “it is better to give than to receive”, the Foundation and its Board of Trustees is committed to making a positive and lasting impact on the health and welfare of men, women and youth throughout the country for generations to come.
