Dr. Bonimy is a proud graduate of St. John’s College in Nassau, The Bahamas and a proud graduate of Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada where he double majored in Biology and Chemistry. He continued his tertiary education in The Bahamas and Jamaica at The University of the West Indies (UWI) and received his medical degree and specialty training in Internal Medicine. Additionally, he completed sub-specialty training in Infectious Diseases at UWI which included rotations at Palmetto Health Richland in South Carolina and Toronto General Hospital in Toronto, Canada. He is a consultant for Infectious Diseases at The Princess Margaret Hospital and Doctors Hospital and a member of The Medical Association of The Bahamas, The Infectious Diseases Society of America and The Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America.
