Dr. Cartwright is a Board Certified Endocrinologist and Internist who is excited to return home to provide care to the community. As a sub-specialist in Endocrinology, she provides care for conditions such as diabetes, hypothyroidism, hormone replacement therapies, osteoporosis but also far more complex diseases affecting the pituitary and other endocrine glands.
A graduate of Queen’s College in Nassau, The Bahamas, she received her medical degree with highest honours from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. She completed her Internal Medicine training at Aventura Hospital & Medical Center in Aventura, Florida where she also served as a chief resident during her final year of training.
She pursued her passion through fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Einstein HealthCare Network in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American Diabetes Association amongst others. She is married with a young daughter at home and in her free time loves to spend time with her family, especially bike riding in the evenings. When the weather is nice she also enjoys spending time at the beach.
