Born in Freeport, Grand Bahama, Dr. Maples attended Lucayan International School before completing her undergraduate studies at Centre College in Kentucky, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She went on to graduate with honors from the University of the West Indies in 2018, beginning her career in pediatrics shortly thereafter.

Known for her approachable and whimsical personality, she has a natural ability to connect with children, making visits both comfortable and engaging.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Maples enjoys spending time in nature, playing golf, and experimenting in the kitchen with both cooking and baking. At home, she shares her life with her husband and two playful cats, who keep her days full of warmth, laughter, and balance.
Dr. Maples remains committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care while fostering a trusting partnership with families—helping children not only stay healthy, but also thrive.
